Privacy Policy
We keep this short because we hate reading these too. Here’s what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Who we are
The Next Steps Cohort is run jointly by Leadmore (John T. Meyer) and DelegateIQ Growth Partners (Jacob B. West). When this policy says “we,” it means both. Questions go to jacob@delegateIQ.com or john@johnmeyer.com.
What we collect
- Enrollment info — your name, email, and (via Stripe) billing details when you reserve a seat.
- Communications — emails you send us, replies to our onboarding sequence, and questions during office hours.
- Session content — Zoom recordings of live sessions you attend (we let you know before recording starts).
- Anything you choose to share — meeting transcripts you bring as exercise material. These stay in your accounts; we never store them on our side.
- Basic site analytics — anonymous page views and referrers, so we know what’s working.
What we don’t collect
- Your meeting transcripts, calendars, or any data inside Granola or Claude. Those tools belong to you and your providers.
- Anything we don’t need to run the cohort.
How we use it
- To deliver the cohort: send onboarding emails, host live sessions, share recordings.
- To process your payment (handled by Stripe — we never see full card numbers).
- To improve future cohorts based on what students struggle with.
- To occasionally send you news about future cohorts, products, or content from Leadmore or DelegateIQ. You can unsubscribe in one click, any time.
Tools we use
We use a small stack of trusted vendors. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Zoom — live sessions and recordings
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email delivery
- Granola & Claude (Anthropic) — taught in the curriculum; you connect these to your own accounts
Sharing
We don’t sell your data. Ever. We only share information with the vendors above as needed to run the cohort, or if we’re required to by law.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- See what we have about you
- Update or correct it
- Delete your account and data
- Stop emailing you
Email either of us. We’ll handle it within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to make the site work and to count visits. No ad tracking. No third-party retargeting pixels.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top. For meaningful changes, we’ll email enrolled students.
